With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vester Housman (Montgomery, Illinois), born in Joiner, Arkansas, who passed away on September 25, 2018 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Sylvester Housman and Alice Housman (Toye); his son Brian Tomes; his stepdaughters, Jeannie Wilson (Will) and Jayne Probst (Jay); his grandchildren, Corrine Besseck (Phill), Kristin Propst, Jayson Probst (Sandy), Brenton Wilson (Loreen), Bobby Michels and Nikki Bryant (Breck); his siblings, Barbara Hall (Andy) and Ronnie Housman; his wife Bette Jean Housman; his stepdaughter Darlene; and his great grandchild Brenton Wilson, Jr.. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
