He was predeceased by: his grandfather Ronald Gonka; his aunt Sandy Gonka; and his grandfather Benjie. He is survived by: his parents, Christian Tolentino and Joelle Tolentino (Gonka); his siblings, Elizabeth "Izzy", Paxton and Bennett; his grandparents, Elizabeth Gonka, Rosalinda and Robert Tolentino; his uncle Vince Gonka; his aunts, Marla Barthel (Mark) and Chelsea Degnan; his cousins, Shane, Brandon Gonka, Alec Barthel (Kori), Ashley Barthel, Andrew Barthel (Lindsey), Nico Degnan, Roman Degnan (Nirice) and Reese Degnan; his godparents, James Vavrek and Ann Mancini; and also, Brooklyn, Morgan, Leo and Zane.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dieterle Memorial (1120 S Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (2300 Main St, Batavia, IL 60510).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family as they work to determine the best way to honor Ty's memory.
