With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Scott J. Hamling of Montgomery, Illinois, born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on February 23, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hamling and Mollie Hamling (Dunn); his brother John Hamling; and his mother-in-law Jean White. He is survived by: his wife Debra Hamling of Montgomery, IL; his children, Lauren Middleton (Paul) of Yorkville, IL, Sarah Roberts (David) of Easley, S. C. and Scott Hamling (Steven) of Montgomery, IL; his grandchildren, Emma, Owen Middleton, Kyle, Ella and Evan Roberts; his brother Rob Hamling of Aurora, IL; and his father-in-law Donald White of Big Rock, IL.. He is also survived by many cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
