Ruth Shipman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Shipman of Montgomery, Illinois, who passed away on June 3, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Gronquist and Catherine Gronquist (Cooley); and her brothers, Robert and Richard. She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Shipman; her children, Michael Shipman (Marisa), Mark Shipman (Becky) and Michele McCoy (Brian); her granddaughter Lauren Schweisthal (Joe); her sister Janet Pfaff; her nephew Chuck Pfaff; and her niece Cathy Oneil (Richard). She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Due to pandemic restrictions, Ruth will have private services with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
