He was predeceased by: his father Robert Leffel Sr.; and his son Richard. He is survived by: his mother Judy McVey (Voyles); his stepmother Coranell "Corky" Leffel; his children, Robert "Jim" III (Sarah), Matthew and Kaylee (Duncan); his grandchildren, Jamisyn and Robert "JJ" IV; and his siblings, Sherry Loschi (Paul), Nadine Thomas (Dan), Keith McVey (Heather) and Tim Leffel (Ronda).
