He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Hughes and Margaret Hughes (Williams); and his siblings, George (late Dorothy), Harold (late Carol), Larry (late Pauline), Fred, Curtis, Alice Hughes (Edgar Hughes), Phyliss Edwards (late Russell), Lois Jesse (late Kenneth) and Doris Powers (late Herman).
He is survived by: his brothers, Gerald (Peggy) and Carlos (late Bonnie); and his niece Vickie Fitzgerald (Steven). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
