She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence J and Iola; her brother Jerry; and her grandson Daniel Biermann Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Albert G Doud; her children, Peggy Doud, Patti Paul (Greg), Pam Doud, Paula Biermann (Dan), Tom Doud (Betsy) and Mary Beth DeRoode (Josh); her grandchildren, Aron Davis, Sarah Roesler (Dan), Dr. Katie Paul (Chris Michaels), Charles Stith (Vanessa), Chuck Biermann (Katie), Anthony Biermann (Danielle), Michelle Blau (Gabe), Branden Roscoe and Libby DeRoode; and her siblings-in-law, Dave Doud (Char), Rick Doud and Carol Churchill. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers Rita requested donations in her honor be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry or Hesed House, Aurora IL.
