He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Benson and Frances Benson; his brother John Benson; and his daughter-in-law Diane Benson. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Wright; and his children, Steve Benson (Cynthia), Nancy Smathers (Rick), Linda Gruetzmacher, Tom Benson (Patti) and Dave Benson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
