He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomasa Diaz and Jose Maldonado; his significant other Marilyn Collier; and his daughter Milagros Maldonado. He is survived by: his children, Rudy Maldonado (Mary), Sylvia Ramos (Juan), Sonia Fonseca (Nelson) and Ed Maldonado (Tammy); his grandchildren, Randy Maldonado (Tootsie), Robert Maldonado (Jessica), Renee Shinault (Ronnie), Juan Angel Ramos (JoAnna), Daniel Ramos (Mari), R. J. Ramos, Angel Marie Ramos (Zach), Liliana Ramos, Joe Maldonado (Daisy), Luis Marrero (Anna), Nelson Fonseca Jr. (Viannette), Alex Fonseca, Ariel Maldonado, Maddy Maldonado and Quinn Maldonado; and his siblings, Elida Rivera, Francisco Maldonado, Consuelo Maldonado and Hermalinda Maldonado.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Dieterle Memorial (1120 S Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
