She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Rob" Kirtley; her parents, Willie Skaggs and Virgie Skaggs; her brother Otis Skaggs; and her granddaughters, Olivia Hailey and Brianna Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Gayle, Virginia "Sue", Steven Robert, Sue Owens and Steve Kirtley (Nikki); and her grandchildren, Rickey, Christopher Hailey, Michael Kirtley, Kristin Carty, Heather, Danny, Chloe Owens, Alexander and Benjamin Kirtley. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mildred's name to the National Breast Cancer Coalition and The Alzheimer's Disease Association.
