She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter and Eva; and her brothers, Robert, Jack and Jim Downey.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Wagner (Sanchita) of Rhode Island and Debbie Ensor (Ed) of Sheridan, IL; her grandchildren, Erica Adrian (Caleb) and Ryan Ensor; her brother Bill Downey; her niece Tammy Mehalic; her brother-in-law David Wagner; and her close friend Pat Brokaw. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Dominican Literacy Center, 260 Vermont Avenue, Aurora, IL 60505.
