She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Asencio and Elvira Asencio (Camarena); her son Roberto Carlos; and her sisters, Mercedes and Martha Ascencio (Ivan).
She is survived by: her children, Juan (Patricia), Yesenia (late Jose) and Jazmin; her grandchildren, Fabiola, Juan and Damian; and her siblings, Elivira Ascencio (Jazinto), Margarita (Mohammad), Jesus (Lorena), Gerardo, Jose (Martha), Jose G. (Maria) and Juan (Maria).
