He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Piggott and Marilyn "Dolly" Piggott. He is survived by: his wife Shirley of Aurora; his adoptive children, Larry Piggott Jr. (Tamitha) of Denver, CO and Peggy Denton (Brandon Chaisson) of Elgin; his stepson Ben Gehler (Josie) of Aurora; his grandchildren, Hermione, Justin Denton, Abella Chaisson, Kyle Gehler (Silvia) and Tim Gehler (Cynthia); his great grandchild Elliott; his sister Mary Chidester of Hertford, NC; his nephews, Rob Hollmeir (Sherri) of Hertford, NC and Andy Hollmeir (Ericka) of Oswego, IL; his great-nephews, Evan, Chase and Wyatt; and his great-niece Nora.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dieterle Memorial (1120 S Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
