He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustaf Demberg and Carrie Demberg; his wife Ione; and his brothers, Harold Demberg (MaryLou) and Alvin Demberg.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald Demberg (Lenae) of Dundee, IL and Carolyn Messmer (James) of Yorkville; his grandchildren, Mark Messmer (Mary), Carrie Martinelli (Frank), Jennifer Fiedler (Byron), Gus Demberg and Amy Wemken (Brandon); and his caregiver Sue Frieders. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren, and well as many nieces and nephews, neighbors, and friends.
