He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry E. Orr and Phyllis Orr; his son Gilbert Ackerman (Stefanie); his wife Jill Orr; his children, Kim Smith (Kevin), Kelly McCarney (Mark) and Caleb Ackerman; his grandchildren, Andrew Skaper, Steven Skaper, Shawn McCarney, Sharon McCarney and Christine McCarney; his great grandchildren, Michael Skaper and Emmett Skaper; his sisters, Karyn Orr and Margaret "Meg" Bogden (Frank); and his mother-in-law Rosemary Marshall. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
