He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Hammond (Rita) of Sheridan and Jim Hammond of Montgomery; his granddaughter Samantha Hammond of Davenport, Iowa; and his brother Jack Hammond (Lois) of Montgomery. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
