He was predeceased by: his parents, Rae DeBolt (Schmidt) and Charles R. DeBolt; his brother Charles H. DeBolt; his grandmother Rachel DeBolt; and his nephew Aaron DeBolt.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Ellen DeBolt (Tesch); his children, Alyssa R. DeBolt, Adam L. Chunn and Alex C. DeBolt; his siblings, Kym Adelfang (Hans), Dana Behnke (Chris) and Joe DeBolt; his mother-in-law Florence Tesch; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Kindelberger (Danny) and Amy Tesch (Jon Zwicky). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for a memorial that will be established.
