He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas O. Mae and Anna Mae; his wife Mary Wilda; his brother Dean Starks; and his sister-in-law Patricia Starks.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Starks (Denise) of Eau Claire, WI and Barb Thornton (Mike) of Montgomery, IL; his grandchildren, Tommy Starks (Amanda) of Eau Claire, WI, Christy Virnig (Mark) of Marshfield, WI, Charles Warner (Stephanie) of College Grove, TN and Jennifer Johnson (Jeff) of Sandwich, IL; his sister-in-law Kathleen Starks of Champaign, IL; and his brother Darryl Starks of Morris, IL.. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
