He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Day and Eldora Day (McConkie); his wife Donna C. Day; and his sister Jaen Stevenson. He is survived by: his children, Diane Schmalensee (Bob Angarola) of Mundelein, IL, Charles E. Day III (Kimberli) of Aurora, Brian Day (Phyllis) of Sugar Grove and Michael Day of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Krista, Jonathan, Craig, Brent, Kevin, Shannon, Kirsten, Corrinne, Aaron and Lucas; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Matthew, Benjamin, Norah, Gabriela, Giuliana and Raelynn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
