With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Alan Martner of Montgomery, Illinois, born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on October 28, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde C. Martner and Eleanor M. Martner; his wife Barbara; his son Michael Martner; and his stepdaughter Jacki Rieckert.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Martner of Aurora, IL and Jill Harker (Randy) of Yorkville; his stepchildren, Kim Jackson of Sugar Grove, Kathi Turner, Tina Johns (Eric) of Oswego, IL, Michael Jobe (Deena) of Patterson, CA and Chris Turner (Kathrin) of Estes Park, CO; his grandchildren, John, Danny Harker, Jordan, Brooklyn Martner, Megan Jackson, Mitchell Turner, Heather, Sarah Johns, Joshua Jobe of California, Jaclyn Irby (Chris) and Aspen Turner; and his siblings, Claire Erickson (Dennis) of St. Charles, IL and Douglas Martner. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
