He is survived by: his daughters, Gina Johnson of Elgin, IL and Jennifer Darnell of Island Lake, IL; his sisters, Marlene Kee (Jim) of Plano, IL and Leona Komm (Helmut) of Hernando, MS; his grandchildren, Zach Aters of Elgin, IL, Michael Darnell of Cortland, IL, Emily Darnell of Island Lake, IL and Nathan Olcikas of Island Lake, IL; his former wife Mary Jo Johnson (Kreminski); and his wife Sharon Johnson (Tummins). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
