He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Whiteside and Bessie Whiteside (Lair); his siblings, Betty Dober, Anna Fern Clouse, Dale, Donnie and David Whiteside; and his stepson Richard Williams.
He is survived by: his former wife Sue Carlson; his girlfriend Rosemary Williams of Smithshire, IL; his sons, Kyle Whiteside (Alisa Hammond) of Roseville, IL and Eric Whiteside of Galesburg, IL; his stepchildren, Nancy Berglund of Monmouth, IL and Ron Williams (Nancy) of Logansport, IN; his grandchildren, Cody Whiteside (Rachel), Mackenzie Schleich (Austin), Alyssa Whiteside, McKenna Whiteside and Baleigh Whiteside; his stepgrandchildren, Michelle Nelson (Ryan), Jessica Williams, Rob Williams and Andrea Williams; his siblings, Roberta Stone of Springfield, OH, Merle Whiteside of Roseville, IL and Steven Whiteside of Monmouth, IL; and his stepdaughter-in-law Elaine Williams of Benbrook, TX.. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren.
