He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy W. Peterson and Eilene J. Peterson (Robberson); and his sister Tina Marie Peterson. He is survived by: his sons, Grant Peterson (Shannon) of Chatham, IL and Mitchell Peterson of Monmouth, IL; and his grandchildren, Quincy Peterson, Adam Peterson, Benjamin Peterson, Lucille Peterson, Carson Saner and Cooper Saner.

Memorials may be given to the Thomas Peterson Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home.
