She was predeceased by: her parents, George M Higham and Mary Cokel Higham; and her husband John W. Abbott, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Pam Thomas (Jim), Debra Pulse (Jim) and Michael Abbott (Robin); her daughter-in-law Kathy Abbot; and her son John.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Turnbull Funeral Home (301 S Main St, Monmouth, IL 61462). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established by her family.
