It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Kay Heatherly of Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Wallace and Gertrude Louise Chenault (Ortery); her husband Larry Heatherly; and her siblings, Bob Chenault, Jack Chenault, Tom Chenault and Patty StokesCremation.
She is survived by: her sons, James Dean Vestal of Galesburg, IL and Ricky Lee Vestal of Florida; her grandchildren, Courtney Vestal and Ricky Lee Vestal, Jr.; her great grandchild Olivia Bouie; and her sister Shirley Caldwell of Monmouth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Monmouth American Legion and sent to the funeral home.
