She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Swearingen and Virginia Swearingen (McKinney); her husband William Eugene "Bill" Heiman; her daughter Kelli Howell; and her siblings, Sherman Swearingen, Ruth Ann Swearingen, Jack Swearingen and Doris Roach.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Heiman Jr. (Lori) of Galesburg, Ruth Mueller (Doug) of Oquawka and Joy Ruhl (Neil) of Knoxville; and her siblings, Lonnie Swearingen of Kewanee, Linda Pembroke of Hillsboro, Carol Lange of Sheffield and Mary Cantwell (Denny) of Bradford. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
