He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Theodore Clifton and Charlotte Alberta Webber Frey; his wife Elene Frey of Monmouth, IL; his children, Neal Frey of Monmouth, Karen Stephens (Keith) of Mascoutah, IL, David Frey (Ying) of Naperville, IL and Lisa Ankle (Richard) of Monmouth; his grandchildren, Amber Flanagan (Will), Lindi Roberts, Jeremy Ankle, Brie Rainey (Craig), Bryan Munson, Lindsey Goldsmith (Jason), Karis Stephens, Abigail Albert (Jaelon), Dylan Ankle, Johanna Stephens, Jessica Frey and Benjamin Frey; his sister Lois Curtis of Carlinville, Illinois.; his sons, Leon and Allan; and his sister Jane. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
A memorial fund is being established at the First United Methodist Church for Missional Emergencies to benefit local individual needs.
