He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardath Hoy (Benson) and Jack Hoy; and his brother Jack (Pam Schinkel). He is survived by: his brother Dennis; his sister-in-law Elaine; his children, Michael (Heather Conrad) and Jackelyn (Sean Milnamow); his granddaughter Julie; his great grandchild Alex; his son Max; and his friends, Denny, Elaine Hoy, Bob, Linda Clendenen, Jim, Pat Perkins, Jen Haley, Carol Phillips, Dick and Cathy Long.

“Dr. Hoy was truly a very good man to myself and my family. He was missed a great deal when he retired from being Principal at Bartlett High School because of the wonderful job he did getting the new high school off the ground in the fall of 1997. Rest in Peace, you will be missed. Tom Meaney, Retired coach and teacher.”
