He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Taylor and Harriet Taylor (Hopkins); and his siblings, Blanche Lee, Frances Payne, Harold Taylor and Henry Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Taylor of Monmouth, IL; his son Jeff Taylor of Monmouth, IL; his grandchildren, Jake Taylor (Amanda Gibson) of Galesburg, Lauren Taylor (Austin Gernant) of Monmouth, IL and Addison Taylor of Macomb, IL; his great grandchildren, Makenzie Taylor and Easton Taylor; his brothers, Bill "Fig" Taylor (Pat) of Kirkwood, IL, David Taylor (Jane) of Florida and Lawrence Taylor (Pat) of Monmouth, IL; his siblings-in-law, Judy Slater of Monmouth, IL and Bill Clayton (Nancy) of Monmouth; and his pet Moose. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
