It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy E. Lathrop of Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lathrop and I. Rose Lathrop (Van Draska); his siblings, Rozella Liggett and Larry Lathrop; his nephews, Bryan Figle and Dustin Liggett; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Crinklaw and Danny Liggett.
He is survived by: his siblings, Peggy Figle of Monmouth, IL, Sharon Lathrop of Monmouth, IL, Judy Crinklaw of Omaha, NE, Cheryl Lathrop of Council Bluff, IA, Dan Lathrop (Kay) of Monmouth, IL, Joe Lathrop (Lois) of Dekalb, IL, Darrell Lathrop (Barb) of Oquawka, IL and Mike Lathrop (Linda) of Beardstown, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Wester Illinois Animal Rescue (WIAR) and sent to the funeral home.
