He was predeceased by: his parents, John Szaltis and Beatrice Szaltis (Zavorski); his aunt Elane Stegall; and his uncle Daniel Szaltis. He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Szaltis of Monmouth, IL and Sarah Kulp (Lucas) of Monmouth, IL; his nieces and nephews, Alexis Wooten, Jayden Szaltis, Katelyn Szaltis, Mason Kulp, Vada Kulp and London Kulp; and his aunts, Deborah O'Bannon (Pete), Sharon Szaltis (Larry) and Josie Hegarty (Rich).
Memorials can be made to the Leonard Szaltis Memorial Fund for his nieces and nephews college education and sent to the funeral home.
