With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth J. Egger of Monmouth, Illinois, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on November 6, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Anthony and Irma Louise Egger (Dunbar); and his siblings, Carolyn Probazanski, Delores Delilah Foust (DeDe), Bonita Gittings (Bonnie), Joyce Egger, Charlie, Donald and Michael Egger.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Elizabeth Kelley; his children, Karen Egger of Kirkwood, Kathy Clevenger (Phil) of Galesburg, Kelly Egger of Fairbanks and Kevin Egger (Dusca) of Ogden; his siblings, Judith Reddish and Robert M. Egger; his grandchildren, Steven Holford (Laura), Sara Brock (Adam), Kristal Holford, Ryan Peterson (Marybeth), Jennifer Morrison, Mary Egger, Tibra Egger and Saskia Egger; his great grandchildren, Carson, Johnny, Forrest, Alyssa, Elizabeth and Coraline; and his great great grandchildren, Adley and Fynlee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Turnbull Funeral Homes - Monmouth (301 S Main St, Monmouth, IL 61462). The military honors was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
