She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Chellew and Dorothy Chellew (Thompson); her children, Kevin and Kathleen Smyers; and her siblings, Gene Chellew and Linda Kenzel.
She is survived by: her husband Loren Smyers of Monmouth; her children, Keegan Smyers (Pamela) of Gerlaw, IL and Kristin Sigler of Monmouth; her grandchildren, Bryce Smyers of Alexis, Alexander Smyers of Gerlaw, Ryan Garin, Kayliegh Garin and Ella Sigler; and her great grandchildren, Brody Smyers, Kade Smyers and Waylon Lee.
