Harold P. Young Obituary

Though Harold may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Harold touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Wallace and Marcia Laverne Young (Parker); his wife Doris F. Gunter; and his son John. He is survived by: his daughters, Marcee Hudson (Jim) of Monmouth and Patty Hasenstein (Mark) of Peoria, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Andy Hudson of Havana, Emily Dolezal (Ben) of North Liberty and Joe Hasenstein (Krista) of Chicago, Illinois.; and his great grandchild Chloe Dolezal.
A burial was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Mosher Cemetery (1182 IL-164, Monmouth, IL 61462).
His family is establishing memorial funds to either Coldbrook Christian Church or to Mosher Cemetery and may be sent to his daughter, Marcee at: 1178 State Highway 164 Monmouth, Illinois 61462.
