He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Folden and Ethel P. Jones Folden. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Folden of Monmouth; his daughter Crystal Vanskike (Brian); his grandson Curtis Blackman of Monmouth, Illinois.; and his nephew Robert Folden (Linda). He is also survived by his parents, two sisters, and two brothers.

A memorial fund has been established for St. Jude Children's Research Hospitals.
