It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elva I. Jenks of Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on July 21, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Russell Dean Jenks. She is survived by: her children, Judy Gilliland (Tom), Stan Jenks (Kay) of Monmouth and Jeff Jenks (Carol) of Arvada, Colorado.; her granddaughters, Jenn (Zemirah), Jazwierska (Andrew Dose), Jill Henson (Steve Gebhardt), Krista Burns (Blake), Andrea Kozak (Brian), Rachel Kunkle (Jared), Chelsea Petersen (Justin) and Caitlin Jenks; her stepgrandchildren, Jason Gilliland (Heidi), Brooke Blythe (Courtney) and Grant Gilliland (Renee); and her sister Darlene Applegate of West Lafayette, Indiana.. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 7 step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Fairview Center United Methodist Church, Legacy Estates or Hospice Compassus.
