With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna K Hallengren of Monmouth, Illinois, born in Yakima, Washington, who passed away on February 12, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Nichols and Bernadine Nichols (Winters); and her siblings, June Elliot, Martha Brag, Allena Wilson, Bill Nichols and John Nichols.

She is survived by: her husband Daniel Hallengren of Monmouth; her children, Mark Billups (Melody) of Burlington, IA, Mike Billups (Tammy Kerr) of Douds, IA, Edward Hallengren of Johnston, IA, Kenneth Hallengren (Amber) of Milford, IA and Angela Muggli (Ric) of Mankato, MN; her grandchildren, Brandon Billups, Jordan Scott, Dalton Billups, Jackie Poe, Elijah Kane, Alexander Kane, Hunter Hallengren, Haley Hallengren, Lily Hallengren, Colton Permann, Marcus Permann and Jessica Miller; her great grandchildren, Xander Billups, Killian Billups, Adalynn Hall and Jovi Hall; and her siblings, Mary Deisinger, Karen Sparrow, Dale Nichols and Harry Nichols. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Beacon of Hope Hospice and sent to the funeral home.
