He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Dye and Bertha Dye (Biddenstadt); and his siblings, Laverne Dye, Larry Dye, May Shook, Dorothy Waddell, Maxine Reynolds and Ruth Guilinger.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Dye; his children, David Dye (Pam) of Naperville, IL and Julie Dye of Oswego, IL; his grandchildren, Christian Dye (Loren), Zachary Dye (Karli), Alexandra Dye and Hunter Dye; his great grandchildren, Kent Alexander Clark and Liam Cleo Dye; and his brother Ivan Dye (Vanesse) of Belvidere, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Western Illinois Animal Rescue.
