She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Russell and Helen Naomi Day (Watt); her spouse L. E. "Swede" Gillam; and her siblings, Robert Day, Merle Day and Nedra Hallberg.
She is survived by: her children, John Gillam (Diane) of Coal Valley, IL, Russell Gillam (Robin) of Monmouth, IL, Ronald Gillam of St. Charles, MO and Jane Gillam of Monmouth, IL; her granddaughters, Amanda Rooney (Kurt) of Burlington, IA and Julianna Gillam of Quincy, IL; her great grandchildren, Lani and Alli; her sister Maxine Windsor of Galesburg, IL; and her sister-in-law Wanda Gillam of Ottawa, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Monmouth or Betty's Garden at Courtyard Estates and sent to the funeral home.
