She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burke and Loretta Burke (Forst); her son Brad Pipala; and her brother Dan Burke. She is survived by: her husband Greg Pipala; her sons, Phil Pipala (Tanya Liedtke) and Nick Pipala (Kathy Bailey); her grandson Andrew Pipala; and her brother-in-law Jeff Pipala (Sue). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423). A prayer will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (19515 115th Ave, Mokena, IL 60448). A burial will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803).
