She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burke and Loretta Burke (Forst); her son Brad Pipala; and her brother Dan Burke. She is survived by: her husband Greg Pipala; her sons, Phil Pipala (Tanya Liedtke) and Nick Pipala (Kathy Bailey); her grandson Andrew Pipala; and her brother-in-law Jeff Pipala (Sue). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Make a Wish Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
