With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zephernia Carlin of Momence, Illinois, born in Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on October 17, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Fink and Marian Riggers Fink; her husband Eugene "Stoney" Carlin; her sisters, Sharon Weber, Zelda Berry, Sonia Schultz and Jane; her children, Mark Katsolis, Jr. and Cindy Carlin; her granddaughter Heather Katsolis; and her son-in-law Wayne Tichenor.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff (Chandra Carlin), Lori Tichenor, Zephernia (Robert Fowler), Christopher (Cheryl Katsolis, Sr.), Marcella (Kurt Bradison) and Scarlet Wharton (Celeste Jonkman); her siblings, Shirley (James Fetsch), Susan (Bill Wessner), Sondra (Don McCammon) and Edward; her sister-in-law Joan Finck; her grandchildren, Paul, Jaclyn Katsolis, Kathleen Carlin, Priscilla, Kyle Plein, Jacob, Sara Fowler, Cassondra Katsolis, Christopher Katsolis, Jr., Gideon Jonkman and Kathryn Bradison; and her great grandchildren, Delilah Plein, Kyle Plein, Jr., Jack Plein, Theodore Fowler, Benjamin Fowler and Colton Katsolis.
