He is survived by: his children, Jesus Ortiz, Esther Ortiz, Maria Ortiz, Rafael Ortiz, Javier Ortiz, Uriel Ortiz, Luis Angel Ortiz, Rosa Maria Pizano, Francisco Ortiz and Robert Ortiz; and his sisters, Elvira Ortiz Diaz, Josefina Ortiz Diaz and Gloria Ortiz Diaz. He is also survived by thirty-three grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
