He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Alvis and Janet R. Campbell Alvis; and his wife Janet K. Lee. He is survived by: his children, Michael Alvis of Momence, IL and Kimberly; his son-in-law Henry Barthel of Bourbonnais, IL.; his grandchildren, Matthew Barthel, Henry Barthel, Braelyn Alvis, Clara Hollendoner and Ashlen Alvis; and his great grandchild Kaisyn Walls.
