He is survived by: his wife Deborah Gleitz Mathews; his mother Carol Rex Mathews; his siblings, Thomas O. Mathews II (Dana Mathews) and Dawn Mathews McLendon (Patrick McLendon); his nephews, Thomas Owen Mathews III (Paige), Trent Mathews, Matthew McLendon and Sean McLendon; and his aunts and uncles, Suzanne Brown, Kay Ernsberger, Anne Heller, Barbara Mathews, Laura Mathews, Roger Ernsberger, Doug Heller, Bill Mathews and Carl Mathews.
