She was predeceased by: her father Wayne Layhew; her husband Richard Mrowicki; her sister Linda Layhew; and her stepfather Gerald "Red" Nichols. She is survived by: her son Shane; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Mrowicki of Bradely, IL.; her grandchildren, Makaila McDaniel, Brock Berns, Travis McDaniel, Carson Berns, Ryker Berns and Ryder Mrowicki; her mother Erma Nichols Kennedy of Benton, KY; and her brother Michael Layhew of Hoopeston, IL..
