She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Engleking and Valeria Lehnert Engleking; her husband Howard C. Sharkey, Jr.; and her granddaughter Beth Sharkey. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Sharkey of Crown Point, IN, Terry D. Sharkey of Brook, IN, Robert Sharkey (Dawn) of Momence, IL, Michael Sharkey (Cheryl) of Thayer, IN and Christopher P. Sharkey (Heather) of Momence, IL.; her grandchildren, Robbie, Josh, David, Christopher, Matt Sharkey and April Doyle; and her brother Mardele Engleking (Ione) of Grant Park, IL.. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
