He was predeceased by: his parents, Johannes Hoekstra and Catharina Maria Uyting Hoekstra; and his girlfriend Carol Gibbs. He is survived by: his sister Cherlene; his brother-in-law Tim Bricco of St. John, IN.; and his brother John Hoekstra of Lowell, IN..
