With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Henry Diedrich (Moline, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 16, 2024 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Diedrich and Phoebe Diedrich (McVey); his wife Lucile Runyon; his siblings, Leonard and Marvelle; and his son-in-law Creston Arthur.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Diedrich (Joan) of Mesa, AZ, Kay Arthur of Keokuk, IA and Larry Diedrich (Linda) of Bluffton, SC; his grandchildren, Jeff Diedrich, Michael Harbin, John Diedrich, Brandon Diedrich, Marci Bullen, Christine Brower, Michelle French, Stacey Brandmeyer, Elisa Davis, Laura Purdon, Kaz Wasilewski and Andrea Mason; and his nieces, Nancy Foster, Mary Toppin (Mark) and Sandy Davis of Waterloo, IA.. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to 15th Avenue Christian Church, Rock Island and to Friendship Manor, Rock Island.
