She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Earel and Norma Earel (Schullian); her former husband Jim Hipes; her husband L. Glenn Shackelford; and her daughter Megan Hipes.
She is survived by: her siblings, James K. Earel Sr. (Vicky), Rick Earel (Karen) of Kansas City, MO. and Jan Hinton (Steve); her nieces and nephews, James K. Earel Jr. (Anne), Joshua Earel (Shawna), Cassandra Neel (Ryan), Michael Earel (Kelly), Hannah Bechtel (Justin), Casey Severtsgaard (Bobby) and Skyler Malmstrom (Natalie); her stepchildren, Tina Lucas (Phillip), Amy Vinzant (Scott) and Charles Shackelford; her stepgrandson Eric Lucas (Emily); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Mason and Brody.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Greenview Memorial Garden (1201 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, IL 61244).
Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.
