She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Jones and Sarah Waggoner Jones; her husband Charles Sweat; her stepson Steven; and her granddaughter Carey Sheets.
She is survived by: her children, William Sheets (Lori) of Kansas City, MO, Donald Sheets (Emie) of Portland, OR, Debra Carpenter (Dan) of Aledo, IL, F. Dwayne Helling (Diana) of Colona, IL and Glen R. Helling of San Diego, CA; and her stepchildren, Ronald D. Sweat of Hampton, IL, Bonnie J. Potter of Moline, IL, Susan M. Mesa of Sherrard, IL and Peggy Karnes (Don) of Peoria, IL. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schroder Mortuary - Silvis (701 1st Ave, Silvis, IL 61282). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at the Greenview Memorial Gardens (1201 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, IL 61244).
